AXL ROSE Sued By Former Manager

According to TMZ.com, Los Angeles-based Front Line Management Group has filed a lawsuit against GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose claiming it is owed at least $1,870,500 from the money the band made during recent tours of Asia, Canada and South America.

Front Line, whose chairman/CEO is longtime manager Irving Azoff, signed an agreement in 2008 to represent GUNS N' ROSES and Rose. Front Line says it was promised a 15% cut of all the cash GN'R raked in... but never got a penny.

In the lawsuit, filed in L.A County Superior Court, Front Line claims the band made in excess of $12,470,000 while performing throughout Asia, Canada and South America.

Axl Rose recently revealed via Twitter that GUNS N' ROSES is now managed by Doc McGhee, who has handled the careers of BON JOVI, MÖTLEY CRÜE and KISS throughout the years.

Azoff is widely credited for having helped to get GUNS N' ROSES' 2008 album, "Chinese Democracy", finally released after a 15-year wait. He personally represents such artists as THE EAGLES, CHRISTINA AGUILERA, NEIL DIAMOND, VAN HALEN and STEELY DAN.

Azoff Music previously managed VELVET REVOLVER, the band featuring Axl's former GN'R bandmates Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum.
